Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. Ana began to learn how to play and sing at an early age alongside her mother. She received more formal training in singing at the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. Following her move in the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of classical Latin American music at private performances. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
