Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that calendar year Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he sang a duet. he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up within a musical family, since both his mom and his older brother are musicians. In interviews, he referred to music participation as mandatory. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was an infant. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, His brother Julian advised him to go for singing classes with an Cuban teacher.
